Nike Selfridges by ...,staat from ...,staat on Vimeo.

When outside of Selfridges in London, passersby may notice something innovative catching their eye, and even tracking their movements. Eight windows at the store served as exhibits for some of the greatest innovations from Nike in the past couple of years. Check out the video for a closer look at the windows created by creative agency …,staat. - Nice Kicks

OPENING TOMORROW: LOCK & KEY Bar/Lounge

Ok I've been here twice already but it opens up tomorrow for the public. It's nestled in the Koreatown section of Los Angeles and features great drinks, great food and an awesome ambience. I mean it's not every night you walk up to the bar and bump into Nasir Jones, you know the legendary emcee you guys may know as NaS. I missed the tastemaker's tasting tonight but I know it's good. Hopefully soon I'll have a full write up for you as far as just the food. But for now check out this write up I found on the spot after the jump, oh and I have a slideshow for you there too.

Fresh Off The Boat With Eddie Huang: Miami Part 1 & 2

I need to get back to Miami, luckily my birthday is in June; and I have some plans/schemes in the back pocket. But we'll get to that later. I fux with Eddie Huang and this series. I haven't really posted any of it to the blog but today that changes. Hit the jump to see parts 1 & 2 of his Miami visit. He of course checks out some great food but on top of that he meets Uncle Luke and hangs out on the BangBus. Oh and the girl from BangBus he takes out to eat. Can't say it's too many episodes where the host takes a porn actress to eat.

H∆SHTAG$ – Don’t Call It #AltRnB – Episode 1 [VIDEO]

The H∆SHTAG$ series by Red Bull Music is a very compelling one, but I was sold on the first episode simply because it featured the homies Miguel, Rochelle Jordan and KLSH. Description below.

In this first episode of H∆SHTAG$, we take a look at the current renaissance of contemporary R&B in the "always-on" age, featuring former half of The Weeknd, Jeremy 'Zodiac' Rose, How To Dress Well, Miguel, Rochelle Jordan, KLSH, BadBadNotGood, and more. How has the Internet inspired and galvanized this new breed of artists? Have online communities and media been too quick to label genres and movements? What does the future hold for the many strains of the R&B genre?

H∆SHTAG$ is a new series of mini-documentaries from the Red Bull Music Academy, chronicling some of the most fascinating themes emerging from the web in recent times, from #cloudrap to #seapunk, #postdubstep to #advancedpop.

LOS ANGELES LAKER UPDATES: Kobe Torches Mavs, Smokes A Cuban

It's been a minute since you got a sports update from me, but I'm at the Los That Sports Blog HQ so it seemed right. Earlier this morning, some of you Angelenos may have been sleep, Kobe marched into Dallas with a small chip on his shoulder. After Mavericks' owner Mark Cuban made some comments earlier in the week about the Lakers amnestying Kobe. Well Kobe decided to answer with 38pts, 12 rebounds and 7 assists. He also hit some impressive shots down the stretch. Case in point: my twitter avi. It was a tightly played game and Dirk gave some nail-biting moments but the #LAKESHOW made it out. Steve gave us a dub, and despite only 9pts, Dwight's defense helped tremendously. After the game, Kobe tweeted "Amnesty THAT". Yo Cuban, the streets is watching, and the tweets is too. Hit the jump for highlights.

Murs On The Toyota Prius: Unique is What You Seek [VIDEO]

I always see this ad in the top corner of a number of hip-hop blogs I enjoy so I took it upon myself to post the actual video, one because I wanted to watch it as a non-annoying element in the top of a website and two because it features a Los Angeles hip-hop veteran. Get the info after the jump.

Grammy Award-winning super producer Hit-Boy was the next artist featured for Power 106’s “Behind The Sound.” In the interview, Hit discusses meeting a girl at a guitar center and started experiment with sounds at the age of 16. He cites Tupac as one of his biggest influences being motivated by the energy and lyrics in his craft. Hit-Boy touches on working with Kanye and seeing how he’s hard on himself into perfecting his music which he wants to use that same work-ethic for himself. The clip closes out with Hit-Boy talking about his dream of having a successful label and the current state of the West Coast.
