GOOD MORNIN'

I need to wake up in one of these...yes, it's a bed. A Lomme Bed
"Form and function of Lomme employ best that art and technology has on offer. Lomme has been designed by Günther Thöny of Thony Projekt. The substance of the bed lies way beyond its interesting appeal. Lomme provides a variety of light, sound and massage therapies. Priced at Euro $42,000" - as taken from Kanye's blog

Friday the 13th - 2009 Remake

Guess who?!?!?!?!?!!? So word is Jason is gettin' a Redux next year. Drops in February, Friday the 13th nonetheless. Supposedly there is a new twist so that it's not a simple remake but more of new angle to a story we're all familiar with. Movies that did a good job of this idea: Batman Begins and Texas Chainsaw. Movies that did a bad job: too many to name.

GOOD FOOD - Origami Bistro Bar

So ever developing Downtown LA just got a new Sushi Bistro: Origami. The place was originally located in Santa Clarita but has decided to open a new location closer to us city dwellers. According to their website they're about Sushi, Steak and Martinis. I'm not into Sushi but Steak and Martinis are fine with me. I know Los Angeles has really dove into the Sushi trend...and with Downtown LA starting to boom...I'm sure this will be a place for urban dwellers to hang out. So if you want to escape Hollywood and still do something sexy...check this place out.

UNI X Going/PUSH @ The Roxy

Some exclusive footage of UNI back at the ROXY on Saturday night for the Going.com/PUSH event. I felt like part of the U-N-I entourage last week, but those are my dudes so it's all good. They put on an energetic show, won over a few new fans, had a few groupies follow Y-O around, and even shouted out the blog, "Eazee Street in the house", before performing "Supreme" (the first post I made). Here are a few pics of the duo: in front of the Roxy, backstage, on stage, and out front again with another West Coast emcee FOCuz. U'll hear from that guy soon as he will be the 1st official resident artist on Eazee Street. I'll have more photos up on the myspace page or UNI's in the next 24 hours.

Insa - Take My Love Event Pics

"Showcasing his trademark high heel designs, London based artist Insa, held an event displaying much of his superior creative artwork plastered on huge walls accompanied by giant versions of high heel graphics, and even a reverse glory hole into a show featuring live music by Kam, Portuguese trio Buraka Som Sistema and Acyde. Along with the fun-filled bash came a free exclusive event shirt limited to 100 pieces. Check out the images from the event after the jump." - (c) Hypebeast (photos snatched from there too)
You know how I fux with Insa...so i had to post this.

Three 1 Zero - '99 Lakers LP

The homie Three 1 Zero just dropped this gem the other day and it's getting some positive reviews thus far. Basically the tracks are based off of people in the Laker organization at that time, like Sean Rooks, Dennis Rodman, Chick Hearn, etc. One everyone is raving about is the track Jeanie Buss, which is ironically about gold diggers. I'm down with the creative backdrop for this piece of work. So download it here, and you can get an in depth breakdown of the LP here.

GOOD FOOD - Ketchup

Some of you have probably been here, but if you haven't u need to get on the good foot and step your eat game up. So I ventured here about a week and a half ago...i don't have any photos of the food because I felt it awkward to bring in the big peter parker camera while on a form of (clears throat, coughs) "date". The food was great and I'll have a more in depth post about this restaurant over at 2girls1guy later tonight.

Earthquake - Los Angeles Today

Seeing we live in the city of Angels, located in Southern California...we are prone to earthquakes...as we've all been wondering when we will have a large one...well we had fairly significant one today. Details at MSNBC. Originally cited as a 6.6, then officially 5.8 then downgraded to 5.4; I think it's being downplayed so we don't panic. Because there are a number of people who believe "the BIG One" will come this summer or after. Anyways...it was felt in Las Vegas and San Diego...i'd think a lil larger than 5.4 in that case...but i'm no expert.

Watchmen Movie Trailer HD

Watchmen Trailer http://teaser-trailer.com
by teaser-trailer

Excuse me, i'm on my movie/video trip right now...

So if you saw The Dark Knight..., then you saw this trailer. If not here's something for you to look at. The special effects and the graphic details are what got me into it...and seeing this is based off of what was the biggest comic books/graphic novels of all time...it will be interesting to see how this translates as a movie. Leave your comments on it...i can tell you based off of the look alone this should be pretty intense. The original story was written during a very political time so with all the intense interest in politics, media and war these days, this should be very relevant (even if it's based on a comic book).

Saw V - HD Trailer

Me and the Saw Franchise have a love/hate relationship...I loved the 1st one, loved pieces of the last 4 but I hate the fact there have been so many. Either way, I'm always curious to see what happens in each new release. The fact that someone thinks out all these "games" is somewhere between creative genius and psychotic...either way check it out and make sure to have a date for Halloween.

ESPY/NAS Party Photos

So since i'm in a picture posting mood, I figured I'd give you the pics from that Nas Album Release/ ESPY Post-Awards Party at Cabana Club in Hollywood. There was plenty of celebrity and athlete sightings. Above are just a few notables, like Baron Davis, Ne-Yo, Keri Hilson and of course Nas. There was plenty of eye candy...so much I don't think Lazo had a chance to bother the creme of the crops. Melyssa Ford was looking great, wish there was a pic of that dress. Ray Allen, James Posey, a horde of NFL Players, MLB players, Pacific Division, The Cool Kids, and too many more people to try and remember...especially when you were buzzed most of the night. Shouts to Premier Entertainment & Elevated LA. You can see more pics here
