EAZEE LIVING: VENICE STUDIO by RICHARD ALDRIEDGE
I had these pics sent to me by someone who checks out my blog and enjoys it. His name is Richard Aldriedge and I wanted to highlight something he did. This studio is located in the Venice area and as Richard told me "My intention, by having the doors overlooking the alley, was to make this usually ignored street space more interesting". The layout is very innovative and in some regards seems almost surreal. If you have more questions about the place contact Richard here.

STATIK SELEKTAH f. JOE SCUDDA, TRUCK NORTH & DIZ GIBRAN - JADED (NEW MUSIC DOWNLOAD)
Had to post this single for Statik Selektah's Pre-Game EP because as you can see LA's own Diz Gibran is on the track, and does he do damage over it. So download it now and support the EP when it drops because LA is well represented here. The track also features Joe Scudda & Truck North which I'm sure a number of you are familiar with.

CHRIS BROWN - TRANSFORM YA f. LIL WAYNE & SWIZZ BEATZ (NEW MUSIC DOWNLOAD)
He made a mistake, he's technically a child considering his line of work and if we can forgive R. Kelly for urinating on a little girl and touching minors long enough to Step in the Name of Love, we can forgive Chris and hope he learns from his mistake. In that regard, I support Chris Brown and I'll drop any of his leaked records here. So enjoy...oh and I hear the video is going to be dope. It was filmed not too far from the neighborhood. The new track features Swizz Beatz (he on the beat too) and Weezy F.

KPLTV REC ROOM w/ MYKA 9 of FREESTYLE FELLOWSHIP
KPLTV Rec Room with Myka 9 from KPL TV on Vimeo.
My folks over at KPL TV come through with another episode from the Rec Room, this time with Freestyle Fellowship emcee Myka 9. Check the description below.
This session was the most intense of all of our tapings at DJ Kiilu Grand's studio last year, because Myka 9 is a certified BEAST. He's been your favorite rapper's favorite rapper since the late 80's. No matter what coast. No matter what planet. Myka 9 is one of the best MC's to ever touch a microphone. The chemistry between DJ Kiilu and Myka 9 is also something to marvel. Regardless where the beat goes, these two are forever on point. I guess this what you get when you bring two-fifths of FREESTYLE FELLOWSHIP together - HIP HOP in its purest form. Here Myka 9 performs his verse off of the single "Mike, Aaron & Eddie" from the Haiku D'Etat album, Coup de Theatre.
