LOS ANGELES LAKERS UPDATES - NEW COACH, REGULAR DRAMA...

So we found a new coach...not who the city expected but it will be very interested to see how this goes.  I don't want to get into all the details, dynamics or sides to this...you can go here for details or argue with me on Twitter (that's what it seems to be there for these days) but what I will say here is that this has already stirred up the usual soap opera settings we're used to as Laker fans.

UCLA JAZZ REGGAE FESTIVAL THIS WEEKEND

If there is always a fun outdoor event that let's you know that summertime in the city (L.A.) is here.  The UCLA JazzReggae Festival is the two day event we seem to have all known about for years.  Now hitting the 25 year mark it will be a great place to see good music, eat good food and mingle with good people this holiday weekend.  Lineups include Lupe Fiasco, Steel Pulse, Los Rakas, Little Dragon and more.  Plus The Miguel Atwood-Ferguson Ensemble will be rocking with Bilal, Pharoahe Monch, Meshell N'Degeocello and Talib Kweli.  Quadron will also be there.  For more info make sure to head to the site now. Rochelle Jordan has a new track that's been getting around, now why I'm a few days late posting only Klash knows, lol.  But check this song out.  Also speaking of Rochelle & Klash they have a new project in the works, details below:

Rochelle Jordan and her in-house producer Klash will be releasing a full length ode' to N.E.R.D. and Radiohead, titled, In Search Of... Radio. The project takes inspiration from N.E.R.D.'s In Search Of... and Nothing, and Radiohead's King of Limbs andHail to The Thief. This project is slated to release in July.

Exclusive in-depth interview with Terrace Martin, Devi Dev and Badd Lucc. In part 2 Terrace talks about working with Wiz Khalifa and Kendrick Lamar before their major buzz and what he sees as keys to their success. Terrace who has songs in the vaults with numerous artists plays us a song where he sampled Jodeci, which Wiz jumped on. Yes this is a Hard Knock Tv exclusive WORLD premiere, well unless you have been over to Terrace's house and he played it for ya! Terrace explains that Wiz was at his house when they made the song and that he prefers to work with artists on a personal level and be involved from songs conception to the mastering and that he doesn't send artists beats over email.
