TREK LIFE x TAKINGYOUOVER x LA STEREO TV (VIDEO)

So Jasmin (TakingYouOver) & I went to Trek Life's album listening party. The performance was very energetic. The whole West Cov was on board: J Bizness, Jansport J, Hawdwerk + Basicali, Tommy Blak, etc. We then interviewed the man himself and were able to admire Jansport J's natural ability as a host. Trek Life goes in deep about his album, mad tour stories, Soulja Boy, how & why he got into the game, his relationship with producers Oddisse & J Biz, etc. Basically you get to spend ten minutes with the West Cov legend himself. COP HIS NEW ALBUM EVERYTHING CHANGED NOTHING that dropped yesterday. - LA Stereo TV

LOS ANGELES LAKERS UPDATES : THE REPLACEMENTS...SORTA

With the exits of Farmar, Powell and possibly an early retirement by Luke Walton the Lakers had to reload.  I showed you they got Steve Blake, but with Farmar definitely joining the Nets I had to post Steve up again.  With Luke on the mend and wanting to strengthen the perimeter D we grabbed Matt Barnes...thank Kobe for that too.  If Luke can't really do much this season Matt Barnes will help us forget Luke's not there.  Theo Ratliff replaced Powell but there is no photo for him.  So deal with it...

I know the OG's just dropped like 2 weeks ago...but with no warning these are just available???  WTF??? The only thing I don't like is the logo on the back tongue...where is the field goal post planted in the homebase between the 21 and 24???  Oh well, I always liked this color way.  $105 is the overhead damage...select stores only so call around.

EAZEE LIVING: 1010 WILSHIRE

So since I'm here pretty much I figured what better way to bring back Eazee Living then with this building here.  A plush residence that comes with everything...the place is furnished, the architecture is modern and it feels like you live in a hotel permanently.  They offer field trips for residents as well as countless events for them on the rooftop.  A gym on the roof right across from the pool and jacuzzi.  Grills so you can BBQ while your guests swim.  There is a happy hour with complementary drinks, big screens to watch games in the cabanas on the roof.  Spectacular views of downtown LA's skyline including the Staples Center, as well as the city of Los Angeles.  Not only from the roof but from the living spaces.  It's a great place to really push that Los Angeles lifestyle.  So next time I twitter about I'm going swimming and I invite you...maybe you'll hit me back.  If you want to see and learn more about 1010 Wilshire you probably want to go here.  Oh sidenote, Diddy has already thrown a party up on the roof...the only other non-resident to do so was ME, lol.  From what I hear there are no vacancies as of right now but I'm trying to snatch one of so.

OUT OF TOWNERS: ROCHELLE JORDAN - ^LIENPHASE (ALBUM DOWNLOAD)

This is a special Out of Towner...we have someone that is actually not even from the States.  Rochelle Jordan is a dope singer/songwriter from Canada and does R&B.  Go figure I'm posting an album from an artist that is neither L.A. nor Hip Hop.  But who cares when it's talent.  The homie Klash put me onto her so I'll give you the background on the project, you read then you download...deal? DEAL!!!

Talented singer/songwriter Rochelle Jordan, who was born in England, but moved to Canada at the young age of 4.  Addicted to TV talent shows such as Star Search and video tapes of Micheal Jackson, was already plotting out her career in music at age 13.  To Rochelle, the 1990’s was the real Music and she really wanted to be apart of this movement. When she turned 16, She Formed a group with her cousin for about a year called “2nd level.” Due to unorganized management and false promises, the group fell apart and Rochelle stopped singing for a couple years, but continued to write. Being at the right place at the right time at the age of 19, Rochelle found herself conversing with a producer named d10 who was at the time producing for Drake who got her a gig singing back up for Canada’s pop R&B artist “Keisha Chante.” Thats when everything for RoJo started taking fold. She was taken more seriously and she was getting calls for more background singing.  She Shortly after Put a band together “Intheroy” and Started doing small shows around Toronto. After a while Things became slow again so She decided to through some video’s up on youtube. That is when she got a email from LA area Music Producer  Klash, who had seen her videos. The production Company that Klash works for, Protostar Entertainment promptly had the singer flown to Los Angeles To record for weeks at a time. Since working with Klash, Rochelle has written numerous songs amongst them a Tyra Banks Reality show theme song, and she has also been tapped to write with fellow Canadian Drake. She is now being scouted by several labels so in order to show herself an true artist in todays internet era Rochelle is putting out her own ep titled "A L I E N P H A S E"  a work that took 14 months to finish, its a collective of songs about enjoying your life and some of the feelings that trying to do just that may bring. "each song is like an emotion we have all felt at some point and time" states music producer Klash "we hope you like it"
