GAME f. RYAN LESLIE - WE ON (PROD. SWIZZ BEATZ)

It might be on the R.E.D. Album but it might not...I mean is it coming out or what?  Anyways this track sounds unfinished, it sounds like Swizz tried to channel his inner Monster Beatz and recreate Blown Away by Curren$y...but that's my opinion.  Anyways you may like this so check it out either way...form your own opinion, you may think I'm crazy.

SUNDAY NIGHT: BLACK MILK LIVE f. UNI, FASHAWN, EL PREZ & TIRON

It's going down Sunday night at the Roxy.  Black Milk is in town to celebrate the release of his "Album of the Year" LP.  It was on Billboard and is getting great reviews.  He'll grace the stage as well as DJ Houseshoes, Fashawn and local talents El Prez & TiRon.  I also just found out that Bishop Lamont was just added to the bill via Black Milk.  It's going to be a dope show as UNI will host and Black Milk will bring out his band.  I approve...so see you there.

SUPREME NIKE SB 94

These may have a NYC theme but Supreme is very much accepted and supported in Los Angeles skate culture.  Peep it out:

“Supreme’s design language speaks to (and about) New York. It’s an early ’90s theme, a series of skate influences that reminds O.G.s of the “good old days” and builds a mythology for those too young to have been there. The lines Supreme’s design team uses, while rooted in that rearview vision, are modernized in a way that takes the product beyond nostalgia, and they have helped the brand build a streetwear category uniquely its own. This holiday, it works with Nike SB on an original silhouette, specific to Supreme.
“Our main thought was to create a newer version of shoes that New York skaters would have appropriated before there were real skate shoes, and combine that with other iconic basketball shoes from the time,” says Luke Meier, the lead designer on all Supreme SB collaborations. Foamposite material on the heel sets this shoe apart, and lines that pay homage to the classic Jordans give the silhouette a timeless feel, but the final result is anything but derivative. The new Supreme shoe is truly a city skate shoe: slimmed-up and clean enough to look presentable, but poppy enough to rock in the street. Welcome back to NYC.”

JIMMY FALLON f. THE ROOTS & JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE - HISTORY OF RAP (VIDEO)

I actually wanted to see this last night but forgot about it somehow...for now I'll blame H.O.P.E.; anyways this was pretty entertaining as well as dope.  I'm convinced Justin may ghostwrite for a few rappers these days because he's more hip hop than this younger generation believes they are.  This clip also reminds me of a skit Justin was in where he crip walked...who's seen that?  Anyways have a small chuckle during the day and enjoy this one.

PAC DIV + DOM KENNEDY BREAD & BUTTER SHOW RECAP (VIDEO)

As you know Ashley Outrageous and some of her goons put together a dope event out in MIA that allowed Pac Div to rock that city for the first time, Dom made a return and other local talent like Skeme and Lavish were able to rock as well.  Skotch and Jasmine Solano were also on deck.  Check footage to see some other familiar faces like Polyester, Cire, and Baron Davis.  Baron Davis? yes Baron of the Clippers...more on that in due time.  For now enjoy this.

JAY ROCK INTERVIEW w/ MR. PETER PARKER (VIDEO)

Mr. Peter Parker catches up with Jay Rock on the Independent Grind tour with Tech N9ne, E-40, Glasses Malone and more while in Minnesota.  In the clip they talk about the tour, Tech N9ne's hustle and hint at the signing of Jay Rock to Strange Music (Tech's imprint).   If Jay Rock can get bread like Tech N9ne then he'll be straight especially with the gutter angle he has.  With the Tech N9ne route he won't need a radio hit to tour across the country.

Taylor Gang Ent. and Rostrum Records took over Toronto Sunday, Sept 26 as Wiz Khalifa’s Waken Baken tour hit the city. Accompanied by Yelawolf, the show was not only sold out (since the first week tickets went on sale) but was the most talked about event for a month! Wiz killed it, and ILUVLOLA.NET was there from soundcheck to finish. We also hosted Wiz Khalifa’s exclusive concert afterparty so lookout for photos from that as well!
