I just found out a friend of mine, singer Danica Rozelle aka Danica the Morning Star recently won the ASCAPLUS Award. This award is for writers in the early or mid stage of their careers. Danica has an independent album out now (pictured above) and on top of her singing and appearing in the movie WALK HARD: THE STORY OF DEWEY COX, she also co-wrote the song HARD from the movie. Below is her 1st video, FABULOSITY (directed by my boy Charles Davis). She just released her new single RUSH to the radio and is already getting a good response. Her b'day is the 26th of this month so hit up her page and leave her some love.
