So as much as we may be fans of hip-hop that doesn't stop us from hearing other genres of music, and most times if you know about hip-hop you know about some R&B. I only chose three albums for this list because that's the amount of major releases that made it on my radar. Frank Ocean may not technically be a major label release for some BUT he charted on Billboard so it was well recognized. As you can see here two local talents made the list but you'll have to hit the jump to see why as well as who the third artist was.
