FIVE FOUR STORE OPENING - PHOTO RECAP

So last week, Saturday to be exact, I ventured over to the Grand Opening of the Five Four Store in the Fox Hills Mall or Westfield Shopping Center in Culver City (you pick).  The store is part of the huge redevelopment process that went down.  So now in the 'extended' part of the mall you can find a Target, Best Buy, Five Four and other nice additions.  The food court is now a Dining Terrace and Brooklyn Projects is coming soon.  Anyways back to the opening...there were select items on sale, steady foot traffic for the few hours I was there, free champagne for guests and even some celebrity appearances.  It's been dope to watch Five Four grow as a brand and evolve and now be able to open a store locally that many of us can access...don't know what this will mean for the famous sample sales but either way you should support Five Four, a home grown company that is making it's impact across the world.  I'll have a video recap soon.

50 CENT x FIVE FOUR CLOTHING

L.A. based clothing line Five Four just did something big and got one of their pieces; the Whittingham shirt, on the back of Mega Rap Star/Mogul Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson.  Mr. Jackson is the cover story for the new XXL magazine so this is a pretty good look for Five Four.  They seem to be everywhere...Megan Fox, 50, Midnight Club LA.  Keep it up...and don't forget that warehouse sample sale I told you about: NEXT WEEKEND.

FIVE FOUR CLOTHING x MIDNIGHT CLUB LA

I know i shed some light on the Five Four Clothing sales past and present, but they've recently made some pretty big news of their own.  The company received a placement in Rockstar's Midnight Club L.A. video game.  Above are a couple screenshots...and though it's a video game I'm sure some of the scenery is a bit familiar to you all.  Five Four's placement in the video game creates the billboards as you can see in the screenshots as well as game characters wearing the clothes. For an L.A. based company started by 2 USC alumni...this is a good look for the city.  Also check out the sweepstakes they have...you can win a custom XBOX 360, a game and even a limited edition jacket from Five Four.  Word is J Dubb was responsible for this placement...so big shout to him.
