BMI's "HOW I WROTE THAT SONG" w/ COMMON, NAS & MORE (VIDEO)

Devi Dev just put me up on this and said I should've been there...I'll know better for next time.  Check out her breakdown below so you can get an idea of what this is about.

BMI’s “How I wrote that song” panel was awesome this year. Held at HOB-Sunset, featuring panelist’s like Common, Nas, Salaam Remi, Colbie Caillat, Sebastian Krys and Zac Brown, the Levi’s/ L.A Times sponsored event had us all feeling a bit festive. Between the Music, the food, the 1pm open bar, Roc Nation brunch upstairs and a sighting of Rhianna, it was a great way to spend a saturday afternoon. THEE BEST part was when common did an impromptu live performance of “The light” with Colbie Caillat. Check the Hardknock tv footage

SHEPARD FAIREY - GRAMMY ARTWORK

So he brought you the iconic artwork for the Obama Presidential campaign...now he's doing artwork for the Grammys.  I thought I recognized his style in the background of various Grammy footage.  It's interesting to see random spray paintings on the walls and light poles across LA turn into the momentum for iconic artwork for the President and prestigious music awards as the promotional visuals.  Shepard Fairey is that guy.

DRAKE NOMINATED at 52nd GRAMMY AWARDS (VIDEO)

If he wins a grammy off of a mixtape that was free, and even though it was re-released as an EP it barely sold...so therefore this will be historical if Drake pulls this off.  And if he pulls this off my predictions of the music industry will be correct.  Pay attention aspiring artists...PAY ATTENTION to your so-called industry.  And did Shepard Fairey design the Grammy artwork???  Looks like his work...
