I remember reading some of the storylines where Wolverine/Logan was fighting off members of the Yakuza, random ninjas and more. So when in doubt bring a popular storyline to the big screen right?
Calm down...it's not a new song or video; simply the homies doing they thing on separate platforms but I wanted to highlight it all together. Above, Kendrick performs "Poetic Justice" on Jimmy Kimmel, after the jump another he does "Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe" and Schoolboy Q getting busy at SOB's in NY.
I really like the video for this track. I was already fucking with the song but had started playing it a bit less as of late. The video may have given it some new life for me.
Well this just happened, DJ Drama decided to unleash this on the world. Sounds a bit thrown together and probably not finished but I can tell you this: Kendrick had his way with this damn track, Chris Brown let off a shot at Drake and Jeezy's is back on his shit. Enjoy.
Bout time, I swear we saw 48 BTS clips for this. Anyways Jeezy was in LA to shoot this and brought out plenty of rapper friends to TurnUP at Greystone Manor. Cameos include Snoop Dogg, YG, Nipsey Hussle, T.I., Ludacris, 2 Chainz [of course] and more. Watch it now. Directed by Taj.
A new video from the homie "O", directed by the homie Danny. I'll say that this one is for the ladies because I'm not sure About trying to watch a video where my boy is there with a shirt off the whole time. The song is from the forthcoming album Love And Other Drugs.
It's Easter next week, and when it's Easter season Nike always delivers some spring heat. Now there are KD's, Bron's and other shoes...but I'm from Los Angeles and a Kobe fan. Thus, I only really care about the Kobe 8 "Easters". Hit the jump for the rest of the images.
My Uncle Snoop gives some insight into his new single No Guns Allowed from his Reincarnated album. The track features his daughter Cori B and hitmaster Drake. Check it out above, listen to the track below.
Mama, there goes that man. Kobe seems to be racking up more ambassador positions as he nears the end of his career. I mean we all know about his airline ambassadorship, but now we hear about this thing with Hublot. I think I became more of a Star Trek fan ever since the JJ Abrams rendition dropped. I liked Star Trek when I was younger but I was always more of a Star Wars fan. But as of late the new Star Trek films look to be in better hands than the new Star Wars films. Anyways here's the new trailer. Hi Zoe...
As you can see today, Hit-Boy and the HS87 family has been mentioned a few times today. I just realized that I hadn't posted their actual compilation project yet. It features some faces you've seen around here: Hit-Boy, Audio Push, K. Roosevelt, Kent M$ney and more. There are also features from 2 Chainz, Raekwon, Rick Ross, Schoolboy Q, Casey Veggies, Redman, Problem, Juicy J, Common, Robin Thicke, Xzibit and more. Download it now.

Simply because Black Moon might have changed my life. This is more so my personal nostalgia than anything that has anything to do with the city of Los Angeles. The full clip is to be released by Red Bull...can't wait.
Fresh off dropping the “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe” Remix with Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar
is back on dubcnn with yet another treat for the fans. Before invading
Austin’s SXSW Festival last week, Kendrick returned from a month-long
tour in Europe. With the critically acclaimed album «Good Kid, M.A.A.D
City” approaching platinum status, we sat down with K.Dot at his last
tour stop in Zurich and discussed his major success in this exclusive
interview. Kendrick speaks about his past as well as possible future
directions, dealing with pressure, Dr. Dre’s absence from the album, day
one fans and more. Interview is available in text and audio. Questions asked by Lil Jay // twitter.com/jaydubcnn
Blow Hip-Hop TV sent me a video with a quick interview they did with YG while he was in New York, along with some highlights of their time at SXSW. While they were in Texas they caught performances from Kendrick Lamar, Trinidad James, A$AP Ferg, HS87 and more. Check it out.
3 reasons I'm posting this: the two artists and the 1 producer. You may remember Kornbread from Those Chosen, Bishop Lamont got many a post on this site, and of course when there is production from J Bizness, the West Coast is being well represented. The track is from Kornbread's forthcoming album "Superlative".
Now you may have become familiar with the song "Them Niggas" by the I.E.'s very own Audio Push as they collaborated with their homie, Grammy award winning producer, Hit-Boy. Well there was a shout out to Daz & Kurupt on the song and that shout out inspired the veterans to make their version of the song. In other words, a "G-MIIIIIIIXXXXXXX".
How I hadn't posted this earlier just proves I was slippin'. Anyways my homie DJ Sean G aka Magic Seanson dropped an awesome mixtape for the world. Hit the jump for the tracklist and the download link.
If Janice sends it over, I'm pretty much gonna post it. So deal with it. Anyways, new music from Tank...it features Chris Brown and makes its way to the public via DJ Sourmilk.
Hadn't heard from my homie Raphiki in a minute but he recently blessed my inbox with this new video from his group Lost Dialect. Check out the video. Download it here.
The Strong Arm Steady homie Mitchy Slick is dropping a new project with The World's Freshest aka DJ Fresh titled Feet Match the Paint next month. In the meantime however, Slick drops a video for the title track.

What you need to know about the homie's project: Track number 15 on ...one rifle per family. was
produced by Karman, a high school youth who honed his skills as a
student of Sessions LA - a youth and student workshop series that DJ
Phatrick helped develop in the Historic Filipinotown district of Los
Angeles. Karman has since found his own voice as an experimental Hip Hop
producer with a very unique sound. After hearing what Karman had done
with an old Tommy Wright III record on his Soundcloud, Bambu asked
Karman to replicate such for his latest Beatrock release. After the
release of the music video for Lean, Bambu once again sought out Karman
to put together this 5-song Free(EP), The Lean Sessions. Something to
play to help get you through your work day... Lean. The Lean Sessions EP - Bambu
I was made aware of this artist back when she did a remix of Schoolboy Q's "Hands On the Wheel" track. Apparently Snow tha Product is from Cali but living in Texas. We've seen a rise in female emcees lately which is really cool, it's also good to see a female emcee that's reprensenting for the ladies. This SXSW performance clip made it to my inbox c/o Fly Times Daily. Hit the jump to see what they had to say.
I posted a video from the homie 'Werk awhile back and if you've been sleeping he has a new project The Graveyard Shift. Today I bring you his EPK. Hit the jump to read some words from 'Werk.
Met this artist via the homie KLSH at the El Rey when Rochelle Jordan opened for Jessie Ware. Her name is Stoney, she's from the bay and she told me she spits. Here is a visual for her track Bumpin Makaveli. Directed by the homie Phil Mao [always good to see him behind the lens]. Enjoy.
Finally got a visual for the TurnUP anthem from the Diamond Lane all-star Problem. Problem makes some stops around the city highlighting cameos from some well known factors in Los Angeles. Directed by the homie Danny aka Topshelf Junior.
The news broke the last time I flooded your timelines with stuff last week in regards to this remix. Then it the interwebs soon after...it's not 'new' anymore but that doesn't it mean I can't let it breathe here on the streets either.
I never post much Odd Future stuff unless it grabs my attention OR someone tells me about enough times. No knock to them at all, I just don't want to be one of those blogs that posts their stuff NOW because everyone else is. Check out the video and let me know how you feel about it.
Let's keep it a lil sexy for a minute. Ya'll know how I feel about Iggy so when she drops a video I'll at least pay attention just for that. Don't get me wrong she be out there spittin', BUT I appreciate watching her do so even more. Hi Iggy...
When it comes to music from Rochelle Jordan, it is ALWAYS welcome here. I've missed some free music she gave out to fans but in case you missed it let's recap shall we? Rappers rap over R&B all the damn time, so ROJO flips it and does some R&B over rap beats. But when you think of Drake beats sometimes you never know if they're really rap beats [I'm kidding, kinda, but u get it]. Anyways hit the jump to listen.
It's been a minute since I've posted some stuff from Blu or Exile, so with a video being dropped by them recently it just feels right to post this. Enjoy.
Speaking of Snoop, he made a visit to Conan's show and performed a song from his Reincarnated album that features his daughter Cori B as well. Seeing the message of the song, it's perfect that he could feature his baby girl on the song. Check it out.
Another week another episode of GGN. This time BK emcee Talib Kweli came down on the set to freestyle and talk generations with the Doggfather aka Nemo Hoes. Enjoy.
It seems like MURS never stops working. There are tours, Paid Dues, Road to Paid Dues, albums with 9th Wonder, albums with Fashawn and everything else. And in between he's finding time to film good videos. So here I am just doing my due and sharing his new stuff.
The other day as this was going on live I saw it flash across the TV while having lunch with my OG Fuzzy Fantab. Didn't get to actually hear what was being performed but we here with it now. The joys of the interwebs. Have some more video dealing with Kendrick coming up.
I bump a number of Trey Songz' projects but that's not why I'm posting this video. The reason is that with this song in particular a number of good folks from the city contributed to the creation of it. Lady G, Buddah & Phonix had hands on it, and I was fucking with it before I knew that. So here, watch share and make sure all your friends are watching it too.
Awhile back I dropped some cross-country street shit with the homie Disturbed Child featuring GBE's own SD. He's dropping the video next week and wanted to share a little trailer action for it. Peep it out. The track is produced by Tarentino of BSM.
Not too long ago, the dynamic duo of TiRon and Ayomari released a new song NO FILTER. I'm sure I didn't get around to posting it but they also sent me an advance of the song that hasn't really left rotation since. And then BOOM, just like that they release the video, directed by the homie Jason Madison. Take a look then share it with your friends.
From her newest EP "7", Kay Cola drops a new video for the track "Won". The video is directed by Equator Productions. The track was written and co-produced by Kay Cola and will be the last video from her 7 EP before her highly anticipated 3rd EP "The Fifth Element" dropping this spring.
Now sometime before Fab and Pusha T started requesting him for features, I had been posting a few things from Troy Ave out of New York. Then Eazee Street had a bit of a layoff...we'll now that I'm getting back into game form I figured I'd post something that had been chillin' in my inbox. This is him with his crew BSB and production from Pete Rock. If Pete Rock is reaching out because he fucks with your music...you gotta lace his production. "POWDER to the People".
I can honestly say that when it comes to L.A. music, I'm THE most versed in it. But that doesn't mean that I don't get some help and guidance along the way. As far as the I.E., if it weren't for Noa James and BlackCloud Music...I would have been ignorant to the vast amount of talent out that way. And with Noa James as an artist it's been great to see his growth [along with Curtiss King] and where it's gotten them now. Now on the Road to Paid Dues with MURS, Noa is getting to take the I.E. and Southern California to places all over the country. But that doesn't mean he's too busy to give us new music. He has a new EP called "The Adventures of Young Orca". Check it out Noa James - The Adventures of Young Orca
It took a minute but I got around to checking some things in my inbox and I came across a lil kite from my mans Banana Clipse. He always keeps me in the loop about producer Terrence Clayton and I should do my due and keep ya'll in the loop as well. Listen, download and so forth. After starting off the year producing Casey Veggies' "Fuck Witchu", IE by way of LA producer TerrEnce Clayton is back with the follow up to 2011's instrumental album reLAx. The instrumental album is titled Ro's Son Instrumental LP. It is a representation of what has influenced his style growing up in LA. TerrEnce is currently preparing for his first Major Producer showcase at this years SXSW. - Banana Clipse TerrEnce Clayton - Ro's Son Instrumental Album
How I overlooked this last week I don't know...but anyways check this out. Lion gets into Dogg form as he collaborates with Daz and Kurupt. This beat was used last year by Kurupt's younger brother Roscoe, now going by Scoe...so I guess it's all in the family. Take a listen here. This is the radio version as the dirty version will hit digital retailers soon enough.
If you don't know Janice yet, then you should go look her up. She's great people that does things for the LA Leakers and if you follow her on Twitter on Instagram then you prolly get to see/read all sorts of random and sometimes hilarious gems. Anyways she just completed an interview with Scoop Deville & my bro Mibbs of Pac Div. Hit the jump to watch the clip and get the details about the interview.
Speaking of Kobe Bryant tho...in a tightly contested and intense game yesterday evening, the Lakers managed to walk away with the W. But what is probably the most notable play of the night, Kobe in vintage form drove by Josh Smith, elevated and threw down a vicious dunk to give the Lakers some energy and momentum. In a similar fashion, Kobe drove by Horford then elevated over Smith again for what was the go ahead layup to win the game. Always a catalyst of the flair [and high blood pressure], Kobe Bryant dazzled, wowed and paced another episode of drama in the Lakers' quest to make the playoffs. Hit the jump to see that dunk.
Pretty interesting to think that a commercial for China is driven by three black guys: Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant and Kendrick Lamar. Check it out and see if you catch what I'm getting at... Spotted at Hypebeast
Because I've been on this Soul Tape II since it dropped, I have to share the videos for the tracks from that mixtape. This is definitely one of my favorites from the mixtape as well.
A new video from "Slauson Hills" gangsta hippy. You may know her at Jhené Aiko. Shouts to the homie Danny Williams aka Topshelf Junior on the visual. Also shouts to the homies Fisticuffs, Omarion and few others in the video with the cameos.
