NBA ROOKIE CLASS 09 - WEST COAST REPPIN'

Some of the rookies I think that will make an impact or contribution to the team seem to have some kind of relationship to the West Coast, a lot of LA reppin' on top of that. Darren Collison, Taj Gibson & James Harden all rep the Pac 10 (Darren & James are Southland products), while Demar DeRozen & Brandon Jennings are Compton products that should bring some flair to their teams (Toronto & Milwaukee). I think Stephen Curry will fit in nicely and give Golden State some attention (at least from an entertainment angle). And of course the #1 pick Blake Griffin should be making noise and that will be a good thing for the Clippers, and ultimately Los Angeles.
