So look what I get sent to my inbox c/o of Ms. Aja aka Ms. OhSooVain herself. Here are a couple pics from the Kidz in the Hall video shoot. Kidz in the Hall were out here in L.A. the weekend of Rock the Bells to shoot a video for Love Hangover with Estelle (American Boy). The video was directed by Ethan Lader, who did their last video (Driving Down the Block). Aja was gettin' busy on the make-up and word is her and DNEZ have a scene in this video. Looked like a good time...I was that close to being in it...but some last minute mishap on my end kept me in the house that day.P.S. When the video is done I'll host it here.
So they changed the venue from Crash Mansion to Element at the last minute and what resulted was a LOT of dysfunction (ask Shake & Meka about it). But UNI rocked with their usual flair and energy backed up by their band Me & Them. Scheduling conflicts and miscommunication left many fans outside for most of the night but those that got in to see their beloved groups had a grand time. Public Enemy rocked out, but because of the confusion I was too tired to stay & watch Ghostface. Chuck D had on his exclusive Obey x Public Enemy colorway and Flava Flav came in with his ice game HEAVY (look above). I have a question now...are acts like Public Enemy allowed to wear "ICE"??? Over at TMZ, there are new photos of Suge. Some look to be him during his skirmish and the others are of him following the knockout blow. Also a guy claiming to be Suge's assailant is on TMZ with photos of hisself and story as to what caused the incident.
Came across this at www.backpackrapper.com, and i see my boy Diz Gibran (in the red blue striped sweater). Diz Gibran is one of LA's local spitters (a good one) and has his hands in the Diamond Supply Co. as well. Certifed in HipHopDX next as of recent, expect some new stuff here soon.
