It's been a minute since Eazee Street went to an event featuring plenty of LIVE performances from the LA Homies. I'm talking about artists that have been down with the site for years now like Shawn Chrystopher, Mann, El Prez, Raven Sorvino, BEeFF, Coolroy, Hugh Augustine and of course Eazee Street's resident artist Chris Focus. So come through and watch all my folks and more. There will be more than hip-hop at this event so get ready to hang out all day and night and enjoy music, art and more. I mean it's not like you're going to be at Coachella [who goes to that shit?]
DJ Orator doesn't do many mixtapes so when he does you have to know it's official. Guaranteed to get you a lavish and 'TurntUP" mood for your elite night outings to places like Greystone, Emerson Theater, etc. Download this now.
If you missed it last night because you may have been out partying Miguel did his thing on Saturday Night Live [SNL]. He performed tow songs from his Kaleidoscope Dream album. His Grammy award winning song "Adorn" above and his new single "How Many Drinks" below. Shout out to the fam Brook D'Leau on stage rocking per usual. Enjoy.
Kid Cudi hung out with my guys the L.A. Leakers and gave them a great 3 part interview. In part three he talks working with hometown hero Kendrick Lamar. Special shout out to Janice Llamoca for sending this over. In part 3 of Cudi's interview with the L.A. Leakers DJ sourMILK and
Justin Credible, Cudi breaks down the beat that inspired Solo Dolo II,
and why he choose to collaborate with Kendrick Lamar "I looked at
Kendrick Lamar kinda like the new solo dolo, like a n**ga doing his
thing and killing it." - L.A. Leakers
Because in Los Angeles we're always looking for new taco spot I figured I'd highlight a new spot in Santa Monica. The spot existed on La Brea but they needed to "stretch out their legs" into a more cozy area. Oh, they also have bacon guacamole, that's an interesting dip right? Pics of the new spot after the break.
They did Game of Thrones for an opening "couch" sequence...now they take on Breaking Bad. Breaking Bad is that popular AMC series that everyone but me has seen but me because the closest I've been to seeing it is by doing this artwork here. Anyways, enjoy this clip.

Echo is back with some new music and he found Convinced as well. Except instead of a feature he taps the homie for some production. Check it out and enjoy.
Speaking of the homie Sean Falyon, gotta make sure I put ya'll on to the homie's new EP, December. Click that link below and make sure to get your copy off of iTunes. Enjoy. December - Sean Falyon

I haven't been into canvas "basketball" kicks for a long time [more like forever] but when you see canvas hoop kicks you know summertime is on THE way. I do like a couple of the colorways so I probably just need to see the canvas kicks in person. What is going for these is that they're Questions. More colorways after the break. You can get these on 4.26.13
You may have seen me tweet about this article I wrote; if not here it is. As a guest writer for MMXLII.com I weighed in on the Rick Ross/Reebok debacle because of the rapper's "rape lyric". Just a quick perspective on "gangsta" rap, corporate brands, their relationships and responsibility. Take a read over here.
Speaking of Los Angeles legends coming to an end, KDAY has been sold and rumored to no longer be a hip-hop station. Though I wasn't always on board with some of the things KDAY did when it re-emerged as an FM station, the station did plenty for the city of Los Angeles. You never really appreciate these types of things until they are gone. A big salute to KDAY, for better or for worse the station will ultimately be missed.
If you're into Nike Basketball then you probably have known about the Elite 2.0 and Superhero packs for the Kobe, LeBron and Kevin Durant shoes. With Kobe going down last night and speculation of if he'll truly ever return, are these the last Kobe 8's? If so, which ones are you buying?
As you can see I'm not here to talk about the game last night, something more important than that win happened. What happened was my favorite player and arguably the greatest Laker may have gone down for [dare I say it] good. With little time left in a pivotal game on a routine play, Kobe turned a corner and his leg didn't, he collapsed,
I haven't paid attention to New Balance kicks in a minute, BUT I'd be lying if I said these didn't catch my attention. I may never go out of my way to buy them, but if I saw them in person I might be interested. The colorway itself is what got me. Spotted this at Kicks On Fire, I'll let them explain after the jump with a few photos as well.
By now you should know the story, Jay-Z and Bey went to Cuba for their 5th year wedding anniversary, the US government got mad. So Jay felt some kind of way and made a song referencing said trip and government feelings...welp, US government got mad again. So here is that song Jay made.
Pusha T will always get a post on these here 'Streets. Enjoy the new Don Cannon produced track, that they keep saying Kanye had something to do with as well.
The TDE entries for this year's XXL Freshmen class take show up for some freestyle action. Q keeps it gritty and Soul drops some intellectual jewels. Enjoy.
If anyone cares. Either way will.I.Am will always get a nod here because 1) he's from Compton and 2) I respect his vision and intellect; even if I don't always agree with the music. Tracklist after the jump.
I'll stick to New York real quick as I post this video of one of my favorite tracks off the A$AP Mob mixtape. It has that old school Mobb Deep feel to it. Off that I was sold. Plus Twelvyy & Da$h is nice. Besides Rocky, these are the two I fucks with.
Let's go out of town real quick. As a Fab fan I've gotta post this video. The song isn't bad, a bit too Drake-ish to me but whatever. Ironically it has Chris Brown on it who we know is beefin' with Drake and I swear Fab takes his opportunities to throw shots at the Canadian too. Now after watch this video it's obvious I need to go to Dominican Republic because even the maids in the hotels there are bad enough to bring back home to the states and marry them. I now have goals for when I finally make my trip there.
Because of KLSH & Rochelle Jordan I was able to see Jessie Ware perform LIVE, and she was awesome. Then after the show KLSH & Rochelle introduced me to her. Great person, so with that, she has my support. Enjoy.
A day in the life of hip hop's brightest star, Kendrick Lamar! We spend a day with him and his crew just ahead of his big Spotify Live show. Yo Ret I see you sir...
Well since we brought up the homie Miguel, he's featured on the other homie J. Cole's new single and they dropped this dope ass video for it. So if you're reading this right now then you might as well just watch this video.
Let's keep it to the behind the scenes clips real quick. If you haven't been following them or me on Twitter then you probably had no idea these two had a track coming out together, a remix to a popular track from Kaleidoscope Dream [in stores NOW]. Well they're also gracing the cover of VIBE together. Here's some behind the scenes of them working on the video. Hit the jump for the magazine covers and to listen to the track.
Check out this weeks episode as Terrace Martin rocks the stage at Paid Dues and connects with his folks such as Talib Kweli, Murs, Skeme, Schoolboy Q, Absoul, Kendrick Lamar, Problem, Bad Lucc, & Warren G.
Snoop is keeping VERY busy as he gets ready to release his Reincarnated album. I heard this song a couple weeks ago but didn't know he was dropping it so soon. You'd expect some sort of corny, poppy song I'm sure but it's a bit more refined than that. Definitely something that can take off for radio. Only time will tell. It's already getting a LOT of positive reviews. I just wanna know if she's gonna TWERK in the video tho.
In case you missed it last night, or you want to watch it again...or even pay as close attention to it and write a news story of Kobe and Shaq still can't be on the court together, here's the video of the halftime retirement ceremony for Shaquille O'Neal. Check it out.
I missed this event since I was coming down with the flu, but if you went or heard about it, Big Sean, AraabMUSIK and of course, Uncle Snoop got together at a secret location to rock out for some lucky fans. All brought to the people courtesy of adidas. Relive the night or see what you missed.
I feel like I wasn't supposed to like this song from Pusha T's mixtape, EP, project or whatever that shit was he put out there. However this is one of the songs I actually play often. Here's the visual, filmed right here in Los Angeles, like everything else it seems.
Alright let's stick to the subject of ladies, oh my random attraction to Iggy Azalea tho...ok I'm back, my bad. Anyways she's released a new video for the song "Slo." Take a look, I'll be taking a few.
Ok while we're talking kicks real quick let's show off some cool women's shoes. I like women and I like shoes, so when I see a possible way to combine the two for an awesome combo I have to speak on it. Now the Air Max 90 and I have a love/hate relationship but I think I always love them on a woman's feet. So ladies here's a good choice. I should probably put Kimmy up on these, I don't think the homie has stepped into the Air Max world. More pics from KOF after the break.
Nahhhhhhh...I've been off my kick game lately, well at least on the site, but I had to come back and address these. This is a horrible idea, a horrible execution but for some reason I'm sure the hypebeasts are salivating at these images. Not just salivating but creating an account to save money for it, sharing pics with their friends, fantasizing over the girls that won't actually swoon over them after seeing them in the shoes. But I'm going to shut up and let ya'll tell it. Shouts to the homies from Kicks On Fire for sharing the images.
Dj Mustard and Kenneth Wynn team up to bring you another Episode of Mistards day in the Life Series. In this one we get a up close an personal look into the studio. And a couple of fellow Pusha Ink cameos from Ty$ YG Rudeboy B Moore and Atlanta Rapper Alley Boy as well. Take a look! - Kenneth Wynn
It's also good to see that Snoop can still get down with his homies from back in the day. Here's an ode to the city we all love courtesy of Snoop, Daz and Kurupt. Enjoy.
Snoop drops a powerful video for his song No Guns Allowed from his forthcoming Reincarnated album. He grabs Drake and his daughter Cori B to help him get his message across.
I remember reading some of the storylines where Wolverine/Logan was fighting off members of the Yakuza, random ninjas and more. So when in doubt bring a popular storyline to the big screen right?
Calm down...it's not a new song or video; simply the homies doing they thing on separate platforms but I wanted to highlight it all together. Above, Kendrick performs "Poetic Justice" on Jimmy Kimmel, after the jump another he does "Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe" and Schoolboy Q getting busy at SOB's in NY.
I really like the video for this track. I was already fucking with the song but had started playing it a bit less as of late. The video may have given it some new life for me.
Well this just happened, DJ Drama decided to unleash this on the world. Sounds a bit thrown together and probably not finished but I can tell you this: Kendrick had his way with this damn track, Chris Brown let off a shot at Drake and Jeezy's is back on his shit. Enjoy.
Bout time, I swear we saw 48 BTS clips for this. Anyways Jeezy was in LA to shoot this and brought out plenty of rapper friends to TurnUP at Greystone Manor. Cameos include Snoop Dogg, YG, Nipsey Hussle, T.I., Ludacris, 2 Chainz [of course] and more. Watch it now. Directed by Taj.
A new video from the homie "O", directed by the homie Danny. I'll say that this one is for the ladies because I'm not sure About trying to watch a video where my boy is there with a shirt off the whole time. The song is from the forthcoming album Love And Other Drugs.
It's Easter next week, and when it's Easter season Nike always delivers some spring heat. Now there are KD's, Bron's and other shoes...but I'm from Los Angeles and a Kobe fan. Thus, I only really care about the Kobe 8 "Easters". Hit the jump for the rest of the images.
My Uncle Snoop gives some insight into his new single No Guns Allowed from his Reincarnated album. The track features his daughter Cori B and hitmaster Drake. Check it out above, listen to the track below.

I think I became more of a Star Trek fan ever since the JJ Abrams rendition dropped. I liked Star Trek when I was younger but I was always more of a Star Wars fan. But as of late the new Star Trek films look to be in better hands than the new Star Wars films. Anyways here's the new trailer. Hi Zoe...
As you can see today, Hit-Boy and the HS87 family has been mentioned a few times today. I just realized that I hadn't posted their actual compilation project yet. There are also features from 2 Chainz, Raekwon, Rick Ross, Schoolboy Q, Casey Veggies, Redman, Problem, Juicy J, Common, Robin Thicke, Xzibit and more. Download it now.

Simply because Black Moon might have changed my life. This is more so my personal nostalgia than anything that has anything to do with the city of Los Angeles. The full clip is to be released by Red Bull...can't wait.
Fresh off dropping the “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe” Remix with Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar
is back on dubcnn with yet another treat for the fans. Before invading
Austin’s SXSW Festival last week, Kendrick returned from a month-long

City” approaching platinum status, we sat down with K.Dot at his last
tour stop in Zurich and discussed his major success in this exclusive

Blow Hip-Hop TV sent me a video with a quick interview they did with YG while he was in New York, along with some highlights of their time at SXSW. While they were in Texas they caught performances from Kendrick Lamar, Trinidad James, A$AP Ferg, HS87 and more. Check it out.
3 reasons I'm posting this: the two artists and the 1 producer. You may remember Kornbread from Those Chosen, Bishop Lamont got many a post on this site, and of course when there is production from J Bizness, the West Coast is being well represented. The track is from Kornbread's forthcoming album "Superlative".
Now you may have become familiar with the song "Them Niggas" by the I.E.'s very own Audio Push as they collaborated with their homie, Grammy award winning producer, Hit-Boy. Well there was a shout out to Daz & Kurupt on the song and that shout out inspired the veterans to make their version of the song. In other words, a "G-MIIIIIIIXXXXXXX".
How I hadn't posted this earlier just proves I was slippin'. Anyways my homie DJ Sean G aka Magic Seanson dropped an awesome mixtape for the world. Hit the jump for the tracklist and the download link.
If Janice sends it over, I'm pretty much gonna post it. So deal with it. Anyways, new music from Tank...it features Chris Brown and makes its way to the public via DJ Sourmilk.

What you need to know about the homie's project: Track number 15 on ...one rifle per family. was
produced by Karman, a high school youth who honed his skills as a
student of Sessions LA - a youth and student workshop series that DJ
Phatrick helped develop in the Historic Filipinotown district of Los
Angeles. Karman has since found his own voice as an experimental Hip Hop
producer with a very unique sound. After hearing what Karman had done
with an old Tommy Wright III record on his Soundcloud, Bambu asked
Karman to replicate such for his latest Beatrock release. After the
release of the music video for Lean, Bambu once again sought out Karman
to put together this 5-song Free(EP), The Lean Sessions. Something to
play to help get you through your work day... Lean. The Lean Sessions EP - Bambu
I was made aware of this artist back when she did a remix of Schoolboy Q's "Hands On the Wheel" track. Apparently Snow tha Product is from Cali but living in Texas. We've seen a rise in female emcees lately which is really cool, it's also good to see a female emcee that's reprensenting for the ladies. This SXSW performance clip made it to my inbox c/o Fly Times Daily. Hit the jump to see what they had to say.
I posted a video from the homie 'Werk awhile back and if you've been sleeping he has a new project The Graveyard Shift. Today I bring you his EPK. Hit the jump to read some words from 'Werk.
